 HOW DO WE HEAR?

Lord, how we long to hear you voice

A heavenly sound, to be our choice

 

Our rest in you will find our way

To find your presence here to stay

 

Lessons we learn, ways your teaching

Learn to lean, listen, ever reaching

 

Never to doubt, by faith reach out

Your hand in mine, no need to shout

 

By heart we listen, we dare not tarry

 Our burden we ask you… to carry 

 

Prayer most precious, in our walk of faith

Jesus plus none, make no mistake

 

Carry us Lord, confident you're near

Teach us; be slow to speak, quick to hear

 

We’ll listen to you, proclaim your name

 In Your Son Father, we'll stake our claim

 

Each new day, listen from above

Our heavenly treasure of love                            

                                                                                               AMEN
