My lonely heart
will always weep.
At night it cries
my soul to sleep.

I dream alone,
alone at night.
And in my dream
my soul takes flight.

10,000 dreams
I searched for you.
This lonely heart
without a clue.

Now God did write
a book on love.
Where perfect matches
were made above.

I saw that book
in my dream.
It’s where I found
my love supreme.

And in that book,
where lovers sleep.
I found true love
A love to keep.

A love for me,
A love for you.
And that is why
our love is true.
