You have rescued me from depression and a future of loneliness.
My Lord has directed my footstep in the path of a purpose.
You have hugged me when I was clothed with filth and you washed me in your redeeming blood.

You never stopped calling my name even though I felt you were out of touch.
I laid my head on a pillow of pride but you were patient with me.
You give me a thirst in my soul that my worldly deeds could not quench.
I found the living water flowing from the words of your son, Jesus.

Your love and compassion warms the heart like a spring morning sun.
You are the builder of my faith, the Potter of my character and the joy of my hope.
In a consuming world of chaos and confusion you offer peace that transcend all understanding.

How marvelous are your creation; from the friendship found through Jesus, to the smile of a toothless baby. Like David, Asaph, the Sons of Korah, I hope that my heart cries out to you in joy and affliction. That my life will bear testimony of my relationship with you.
