Lionel & Leslie Cruise for Jesus

Lionel & Leslie take Gospel Entertainment to new heights with the "Spirit" line cruises.
The recently dubbed king and queen of inspirational soul music perform for audiences aboard the Spirit of Washington and Spirit of Philadelphia cruises. The two are consistent in their belief that Christian people like to be "entertained" also. With that said, they present their Christian and inspirational lyrics in a Las Vegas Style show format. The two have been singing regularly aboard the Spirit of Washington since 2002 and this year have added twenty-two more dates through 2008 on the Spirit of Philadelphia to their already busy schedule. Negotiations are in the works to secure dates on other Spirit Cruise lines in Boston, Chicago, New York, New Jersey and Norfolk.

Their belief that Christians need to be entertained too is shared by those who have the opportunity to see them in action. It is the cruisers who call and request Lionel & Leslie to return ever year because they appreciate being "entertained". The patrons feel like they get their money's worth. The two in no way omitt the Gospel of Jesus Christ during their show but are careful not to be "preachy" during their presentation. Instead, Lionel & Leslie share inspirational messages and let their songs do most of the talking. It is obvious the show is well received and the two continue to gain a fan base of more than 300 people per show. The dynamic duo hopes to also expand their "cruise ministry" to major cruise lines such as Carnival, Disney, Norwegian and others. Be on the look out for Lionel & Leslie as they cruise for Jesus to a city near you.
