Purer still than the songs of cherubim and seraphim.
Powerful and good are Your thoughts
They are the divine seeds of holiness
From Your mouth proceeds righteousness
The glory of Your essence, an embodiment of virtues
There is none like You
Your glory is revealed in majesty by the heavens
The clouds tread in their beauty
The eye of the sun searches the deep things of the night
Hidden in the dark and brings it out in majesty
To the glory of the Light, a provision of kindness
Surely You have crowned the day with a crown of Light
And the night with the wisdom of Your ordinances
The beauty of power and knowledge,
The night! Preparing the words of the day
Exalted in the grandeur of celestial laws
Here the stars sow their thoughts
Before the light of the heavens
When the earth reveals the might of your power
The glory of Your Word that envelops all things.
Everything is the Word in heaven and on earth
Your Glory, Your Son, Jesus revealed in Your might
You are God, powerful beyond the understanding of your works…
