We are assured in Scriptures that all things – and that list include the good, the bad, and even the ugly – work TOGETHER for the ultimate best of the saints.

No where else is this truth more realistic than in the area of personal failure that befalls the saints from time to time. I believe that the following are some lessons that failure can teach us:

1.Failure teaches us learn to look beyond our self abilities and strengths to the Almighty God.

2.Failure teaches us to know and accept our limitations in order for us to learn to improve on ourselves.

3.Failure opens our eyes to clearly discern and identify who our true friends are from the false, fair-weather ones.

4.Failure helps us discover just how vulnerable and fallible we are just like the rest of humanity.

5.Failure teaches us, like it did to Peter, to learn to tread with care and caution, to always be circumspect, and to learn to limit our excesses.

6.Failure gives us the first hand privilege of discovering that God not only gives His children a second chance, but several more chance, again and again.

7.Failure teaches us to cultivate the godly virtues of humility, patience and grace in order to start afresh again.
