Poetry
(written 8-20-03)
I have a moment,
That I may praise You,
To honor Your glory
And seek You
without seeking from You.
My life and breath,
My reason for existence.
You toughen me with trials,
And strengthen me with Your Spirit.
You're faithful in love and mercy,
You always speak the truth gently.
You never change and are my stability.
Your grace is unending.
May all my breath and works,
Testify of who You are.
Let me not live less than this,
For You perfect my ways forevermore.
