How is it possible
For you to show such love
The kindness in your eyes
Reflects mercy from above

Why would you stay
When I’ve betrayed your confidence
How can you forgive me
When I can offer no defense

The grace you’ve shown
Just blows me away
I must be of some worth to you
Redemption on display

Never known such devotion
From mortal man before
The fruits of the Spirit
Are anchored deep within your core

So fortunate to have found you
You always see through my façade
My closest friend forever
My precious gift from God
