The Master’s Plan

I know thy works, and thy love and faith and ministry and patience, and that thy last works are more than the first.
Every day, I go about
Running this life’s race.
I wonder why, I am here
In this certain place.
My life is not, going in
Any specific direction.
I still know, You are here
Despite my lack of perfection.
Even though, I don’t know
What I am doing here;
I will wait, knowing that
You will calm my fear.
I know You, are by my side
Holding on to my hand
For only You, have rights to hold
The perfect “Master Plan”.
I often look, back upon
This chaotic race of life;
How You have, led the way
Through my joys and my strife.
For I often, see that I
Was guided by Your grace,
Sometimes led, tenderly
To a quiet resting place.
You are here, teaching me
Upon the Lord to wait;
Your timing is, always perfect;
It never comes too late.
I then see, why I have been
Placed upon this land.
Being guided, lovingly
Toward Your “Master Plan“.
Patience is, such a hard
And trying thing to learn
For to see, this story’s end;
I do so often yearn.
What I find, difficult about
The plan that You hold,
Is that life’s, end result
May not be mine to know.
All I need, to know about
What I am here for;
There is for me, a perfect plan
That You have in store.
Even in, desolate times;
You will bring me through
For this life, is forever Yours;
I have given it to You.
Lord You will, guide my way
Please help me to withstand.
All the trials, I go through
Are for your “Master Plan“.
Even when, I don’t know
Why that I am here;
You will be, right by my side
Drying every tear.
Whether in, pain or joy;
No work is done in vain;
If it is, not done for men
But only in Your name.
I do pray, Your will be done
Please help me understand;
I am just, blessed to be
Part of my Master’s Plan!

I do so often yearn....I know what you mean Danette. I am reminded of Heb 6:12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises. God's master plan will unfold as we faithfully and patiently wait for it. Reading this was a blessing. Thanks:)
