WHO IS YOUR FAVORITE SUPERHERO?

Who is your favorite superhero?

Let's look at some of the most famous superheros that almost all children look up to and admire:

Batman - He's cool because he drives a neat car, is very strong, and dresses

in black. And, he gets to wear his underwear on the outside of his clothes.

Superman - He's faster than a speeding bullet. He's more powerful than a

locomotive. And, he can fly. He also gets to wear underwear on the outside

of his clothes without looking funny.

Spiderman - He can shoot webs to swing on or catch bad guys. He can climb up

the sides of buildings and jump very far and very high.

The Incredible Hulk - When he gets mad, he goes crazy. He gets very strong

by growing huge and he also turns green. Who wouldn't want to do that? Not

to mention, each time he grows huge, as soon as he goes back down to normal

size he needs new clothes.

Wolverine - He has animal senses, enhanced physial capabilities and he can

heal from practically any wound.

Now, that's just a few of the well known superheros that comic book creators

have created.

Now, why did you choose your favorite superhero AS your favorite?

Because of his incredible strength? Because of his ability to heal?

Did you know there is a Hero that is better than all of these?

He can heal. He is very strong. He can do anything. He knows everything.

He can be everywhere at the same time.

Guess what?

His name is Jesus!

Jesus even did some things that no other superhero has EVER done!

He was born of a virgin.
He was crucified.
He came back to life on the third day.

And there are many other prophesies that he fulfilled.

Can you count on Batman or Wolverine to be there when you need a friend?
Can you count on Spiderman to forgive your sins?
Can you count on Hulk or Superman to wipe away your tears?

There's only so much those created superheros can do.

But Jesus can do anything!

Luke 1:37 states "For nothing is impossible with God."

He can forgive you of your sins.
He can heal you.
He can hear your prayers.
He can save your soul.

No one else can do those things!

So, remember. The next time you and your friends are talking about your favorite hero, let them know your favorite hero is Jesus!
