Mommy, What’s in the Rain Clouds?



A small little boy inquired of his mother one day, “Mommy, what’s in the rain clouds?” He looked at the sky as if its shades of gray and black would turn his light blue eyes to transparency.
His mother replied, “God is in the clouds, dear. He’s just crying for those who will never be found.”
“O, that’s very sad, Mommy,” responded the child.

A small little boy inquired of his mother one day, “Mommy, what’s in my tears?”
He looked at himself in the mirror and wondered if he would ever stop crying.
His mother replied, “God is, sweetie. Your tears will stream through heaven someday as you arrive at His throne.”
“O, that’s very pleasing, Mommy,” responded the child.

A small little boy inquired of his mother one day, “Mommy, can me and God cry together someday?” He gazed at the sun peaking through the clouds and smiled at his mother.
His mother replied, “Yes, son, but they will be tears of joy as those that are lost become found. You and God will cry in eternity.”
“O, that’s amazing, Mommy!” exclaimed the child. He beamed his eyes into the clear sky as the sun was setting on the horizon; and he wondered, just maybe, if his Mommy could cry with them too.
