Corrie ten Boom, the well known Dutch lady who saved together with her family and other friends many Jews during World War II, was called by God to travel around the world preaching and testifying about His love, forgiveness.
She used to say: God’s mills are grinding slowly, but securely.

Being a watchmaker, time was very important.
When her life’s calling changed from watchmaker to fulltime “tramp for the Lord”, she learned first-hand how important God’s timing is and that He has wonderful ways in performing His plans.

She was neither the first, nor the last one to discover this, because in His timeless piece the Bible, time is a very important tool in His overall plan with this world.

I can give you many examples from Scripture itself to underscore my point!
This year, my wife and I are reading the devotional “Great Days with the Great Lives” by Charles R. Swindoll - at present we read about Esther.
Charles Swindoll gives us some wonderful insights; again and again he mentions the timing element in this precious story.
God may be silent but He is not absent and always on time!
You better belief it!

To experience God’s timing in your life first-hand is something else, and amazing when you see it happening.

Recently, I submitted a devotional under the title: “she did a beautiful thing for me”. Within hours, I had a reaction from one of the FW members that it had encouraged her at the very right moment. Thank you LORD!
And her reaction blessed us too!

My wife and I like to hear many other stories in which you saw or experienced God’s timing in your life; if not on this side, we will hear them later, in heaven.

Jesus, God’s Son came at the fullness of time and will fulfil all of His Father’s plans according to His Father’s timetable.
He only asks from us to follow Him daily and use our time and talents as wisely as possible for the sake of His glory!
