My Amazing Grace

As I watch the waves being tossed around

I praise you Lord for setting me on solid ground!

As I cried out to you in pain and despair

I praise you Lord for it was you who were there!

As the battle raged within me deep inside

I praise you Lord for in you I could reside!

As I cried out “Lord I need you” You did not hesitate

I praise you Lord for your never a minute too late!

Psalm 136 in a quick response I heard

I praise you Lord for still speaking through your word!

As I cried and read and cried and read some more

I praise you Lord for answering the knock on your door!

For your word is truth and your truth is in your word

I praise you Lord for what I have heard!

You showed me your everlasting mercy and grace

I praise you Lord for allowing me to seek your face!

I will praise you Lord forever and all of my days!

I praise you Lord! I praise you Lord! My Amazing Grace!
