Storms of my life are raging round
Waves overcome me and knock me down.

I can’t find my way through this
Sinking deep into the abyss.


I look for support,there’s none to be found,
Only the harsh storms raging sound.
I feel as though I will be drowned.


Weight of the rain, blurring my sight,
On this forbidden lonely night.
I seek a flicker of promising light,
That eludes my soul from this fright.

Trying to focus through this storm;
Only hazy red words take form.

God’s words come in without delay
All things work for the good of Your way
What is the purpose? I desperately pray.
Please my Savior, show me the way!

Because I can’t find my way through
Looking to you is all I can do.

Guide me through this violent storm
This shipwrecked life, mend and transform.
Cuz I can’t even feel any more.

Please show me the way!

As I am thrashed by crushing waves
My life is wreckage, You can save

Show me the way out of this pain
Show me the way out of this rain;

Show me the way.

As I pass through this rough water
Ocean raging I start to falter

Help me keep my head high above
Strengthen me fill me with Your love.

Guide me to Your fortress isle
With eagles strength above this trial.

Help me in my desperation,
I search for You, my salvation.

Set me upon Your mighty rock
Take away this stumbling block

Renew me with Your strength, I pray;
Show me the way!

Please show me, my God,to the end
My island fortress and my friend.


Dry the rain take away my pain
So only beauty of Christ remains.

Show me the Way!

As the dark tempest swells around
Through the thunder I hear a sound

Do not fear and look up to Me
And you will not sink into the sea.

I’ll show you the way!

Will the tempest dread, be my fate?
No upon the Lord I will wait.
In this trial I will meditate
His power He will demonstrate
God’s regard will not come late.

He’ll show me the way!

Power from God that calms the sea
In turbulent tides I have peace
Faith in the plans He has for me
I look to heaven and I believe

The Lord has a will and a way
I look up and with God’s power say;

He will show me the way!

Though I weep in the dark of night
My joy will come, Yes my joy will come with mornings light.

For a moment is His anger
For a lifetime is His favor

He will show me the way!

His Grace is sufficient for me
Strength made perfect when I am weak
God will supply all of my needs

In the glory of my Je-sus
He’ll show me the way!
