Love is not enough
It was never enough
What about understanding
What about trust.

I wonder and ponder,
He said he loved me – true
But not enough
He sings the three words every time

But love was not just enough
Not that it is not needed but it not enough
It hurts, am worried
It aches, am a nervous wreck

He loved enough but it was not enough
What do you expect?
Man was not made perfect
A reason his love was not enough

But the perfect one gives perfect love
Sacrificing and in abundance
His love is enough.
Why not when his name is Love

But man! oh man!
Though could be almost enough
With the flavour of trust,understanding
And a taste of wisdom

Imperfect love is never perfect
Perfect love, that definitely
And most assuredly is perfect
Can not always love
