1 John 2:1
My little children these things write I unto you, that ye sin not, And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteaous:

Isn't it great to know that when we are saved Jesus is our advocate. He pleads our case to His Father in heaven when we have done wrong. Jesus is the greatest defense anyone could ever have. When Jesus pleads our case God only sees the blood of Jesus that covers our sins because we accepted Jesus into our hearts. I wouldn't want anyone else to defend my case on judgement day, Jesus is the only ONE who can handle that job!

Jesus Will Defend Our Case

Jesus will stand up for me on judgement day
To tell His Father their sins have been washed away

They have no debt for it has been paid
When at the altar all their sins they laid

The day they believed and accepted me into their heart
An heir to heaven they became a part

Through Jesus our sins are forgiven to God's satisfaction
Only through the love of Jesus, did we receive this action

Through Jesus' blood our sins have been covered
Because the love of Jesus our heart discovered

Without Jesus to argue our case
Harsh judgement for our sins we would face

Jesus will be our lawyer, because He paid our price for sin
When we stand before God, through His blood we are cleansed within
