You were going to talk
to me: after all my
raving and rantings
yesterday."

"Yesterday is gone, child."

"Well, I don't like
being distant from You."

"I'm right here, precious."

"I thought maybe You
went to Pluto, again."

[SMILE.]
"I am there also, little one."

(silence)
"I don't want You to be
anywhere, Lord: except
with ME! No; forget
that, Lord. That's not
nice; it's selfish."

[SILENCE.]

"I didn't mean that.
I want You to be watching
over everybody, Lord.
But, really, sometimes
I wished You were
a little different."

"Yes. I know, child."

"It's like I want to remake
and RESHAPE You - into
a God Who's more.....
user friendly?"

[LAUGH]
"In what way, child?"

"Oh, You know what that
means, Lord? Hey, that's
pretty neat."

[NOD.]

"Well, You know I don't
want to be irreverent...."

"NO?"

(silence)
"Oy. I really don't want to
be irreverent, Lord. But,
it's hard not to be honest
with You. I wish I were
a little more...."

"Tell Me, child!
Speak to Me!"

"Well, like....You know,
I wish I could SEE You;
that would be a start."

[NOD.]
"Go on."

"And, You know....
like, I wish You weren't
so, eh....."

"Speak!"

"Eh, perhaps so....
uh.....
harsh. Yeah, that's it."

"AND, NASTY?"

"Well, yeah.....
I guess. I mean,
sometimes...that's all."

"There's much more
there, child."

"Yeah; maybe. I'll think of
some more stuff. Later."

[NOD.]

"How do I feel close to
You again, Lord?"

"Seek Me, child.
And, I am there."
