Prayers

Lord, as I pray for others in this prayer also to I include myself as a sufferer of depression.

Depression is an illness and many people can be discriminated, bullied, belittled and pushed out of social groups because of something that occurs within one's body.

Sometimes Lord we feel helpless and all we can do is call out to you when things get worse, we feel have gifts but because of this illness feel living out this destiny is stopping us moving forward.

We pray that in these difficult and stressful situations we find ourselves you may prompt whether there is any sin in our lives that God is trying to talk to us through this period until greater blessings and a release of new life may come around.

I pray for healing of any disease, the mind and anything that the devil may put in or any temptation to fall back into the old way of life.

I pray God instilled visions will permiated within our hearts that there is a hope and a future despite how we may feel inside today.

I pray that our thinking will change how we view our depression that it is for the good of those who love God, I pray for those who we interact with there will be understanding, assistance, prayer and support whether through a councellor, medication for a period or some kind of fulfilled activity.

Where things have not worked out in the past Lord I pray in the power, authority and conviction Jesus you would change circumstances through radical healing every day, every hour or every minute depending on the severity of the illness to which we can praise you when and until we overcome.

Take away any guilt or doubt and let forgiveness be released where forgiveness needs to be done, increase your power in such a way we know your hand is upon our lives and that there will be positive fruit and people will be amazed at what a difference your noticable presence can make in one's life.

We ask all of this and you will have your way in us and protect us from any evil, temptation, fear or anything else that is on our hearts that would stop us living for you Lord. Amen.
