Poetry
You have broken this bond
On my neck a band of slavery
And the light of your Word
Has lifted the veil off my days
Time I have served, spent
Of labours that wrought tearful dust
Of rewards that fan the flames of sorrows
Of ever black joys like saturated clouds
That swirled around my days
And a master that gives you the light of the moon
From the sun he has taken from you.
Thus I have come home
Blistered, where the salve of your love has healed
