in the bosom of the Father.
It gives refuge from the storms
and comfort in times of sorrow.

When I lift my heart to God
He invites me to enter in.
And whenever I need shelter
I return there again and again.

In this quiet secret place
God provides security and rest.
My souls finds refreshment
as I lay on the Father’s breast.

God’s arms are outstretched
they are always open wide.
He draws me close to Himself
and from life’s storms I hide.

This place in the heart of God
is a haven for those who seek.
there’s renewal for the redeemed
and there’s strength for the weak.
