Come, Brilliant Star

Come, brilliant star, shine out brightly,
Wise men are following you ~
Point out the path to the Savior,
Let your prediction come true!

Patience rewarded ~ (your waiting)
You’ve hung in the wings so long;
Make a majestic evening ~
Fill it with angelic songs!

Then when the wise men find Jesus
And give Him the precious gifts, rare,
Sparkle the gold ~ carry fragrance
Out on the clear evening air.

Shine! Brilliant star, shine to Heaven!
Shine! To the earth below!
Shine! So there are no doubters!
Shine! So that all men will know!

Jesus has come to be Savior!
He’ll give His life ~ set us free!
Jesus! The precious Redeemer!
Bright Morning Star, to me!
