Breathe on me, sweet Spirit divine
breathe in me wisdom and light
breathe through me compassion and peace
grant me to love in your might

Jesus, yours are the hands that formed this child
yours are the eyes that know
yours is the heart, the source, my Lord
from whence my blessings flow

Shine through me, Merciful Morning Star
use me in the night
burn through me bright hope
to draw the lost into the light

Yours is the peace that comforts me
the joy in my song is the King
I've entered in to your blessed rest
I've heard the angels sing

The melody of saving grace
now, sing through me, Sweet Spirit
the words of life
the chords of truth
so all the world can hear it!
