The Lord will sometimes take away
That which seems good and right,
But we are looking through a glass
Which still is dark as night.


For we can’t see what lies ahead
He asks us walk by faith,
And setting hopes on what we see
Is such a big mistake.

We cannot know the answers
By and by we’ll know
Our Father’s plan was better
Than the other one we chose.

It’s hard when we don’t understand
And Life seems such a mess,
But he will not forsake us;
It’s his desire to bless.

Hold on tight , my dearest friend,
This storm too will pass,
As surely as will come the dawn
To shine upon the past.

Put your hand in His great hand
And take it day by day.
Remember your Deliverer
Will take you all the way.
