How can I begin to tell you,
O Lord of who I am?
Sometimes I do that which is right
And faithfully,I stand.

But other times ,so willfully,
I do that which is wrong.
Then the road that leads me back to you
Is dark and very long.

So like a sheep I wander off
And travel my own way.
Your voice so sweet, it calls to me.
I hear and I obey.

" Bring all yourself," He says to me
Although you've strayed away.
Remember what I've done for you;
Come, be clean today."

You think you've come too far for Him
To make you whole again
But in His word He tells us that
We can return to Him.

It takes a turning 'round, my friend
And going the other way.
A giving up a sinful plan
Repent and then to pray.

Prayer brings healing in your soul
A mighty river flows.
Forgiveness from the heart of God
That humble spirit knows.

It takes great humility to turn from our wicked ways sometimes. It means we have to look at the problem, see it for what it is and then let God have it. If we walk in unrepentance,we will hear satan say," there is no help for him/her in God." "But thou, o Lord ,art a shield for me ,the Glory and the lifter of my head
