I know there is a special place
where I can always go
that is so perfectly calming
when my burdens overflow

It's not of brick or mortar
no travel time it takes
Just step away to be alone
and there He always waits

His place I love to visit
such beauty and such Grace
In knowledge and in promise
there is no warmer place

The comfort that is given
no earthly home compares
To fall into His loving arms
and tell Him all my cares

He always has an open door
and bids me come on in
This patient loving Father
restores my strength within

I love this place so dearly
I visit there everyday
I leave my every burden
when I kneel with Him and pray!
