Fly

Toss me in the air, and catch me when I am falling to the ground
Give me wings so that I can fly propelled, wholly by your love
Immense me with the power and knowledge of your resurrection
And seat me by your side in heavenly places, dear God of Ages

Fill me up with your beautiful and entrancing pure Holy Spirit
That I may fly and dance to a different place, totally oblivious
Wash me with the mighty waters, the word so powerful and bold
That I may no longer be muddy, but clean to spread my wings and soar

Take my hand and let’s dance in circles going round and round
Look at me with your eyes that speak of your love for me, so profound
Rest my life in your mighty hands, filled with care, grace and mercy
Open the doors that lead to the fulfillment of your will and my dreams

In the storms, let the hope that you give me strengthen my wings
Enable me to never give up but always fly towards you, sweet Jesus
Reign in my life forever, and let the blood of the Lamb continuously drip
Washing my sins away as I willingly run this difficult, but joyful race

As I fly be the lamp unto my path, giving me direction and wisdom
Help me to stop and help someone else in need, with love and goodness
Teach me along the way, that the fruits may be vibrant, plentiful and evident
The devil already vanquished, as I fly towards eternity with you Yahweh
