Encouragement

Listen friends, I want to encourage you today. God has put something in my spirit that has me so excited. Even more so because, I know God is excited about it.

God wants me to remind you that he wants to use you right where you are. Whatever trials & tribulations you’ve faced, God needs them, and he wants them. He needs you to help encourage his people, the lost, the lonely, and the abandoned.

He wants to turn your hurt into hope for others and also give you liberty over those trials. He needs people, everyday people to use their testimonies to reach others.

I know most of us don’t mind listening to someone on T.V. that has a master’s degree or someone that has written 5 self help books. But what really moves us is seeing everyday people like you and me talking about their trials and how God pulled them through.

Most of us have read stories from the bible, even non Christians have heard stories about people being delivered and healed.

They might believe it they might not. But chances are they would be more interested in an average Joe talking about how he once worshipped Satan and got delivered or how someone addicted to drugs and alcohol got clean inside and out with the blood of Jesus.

Or how you sinned against your marriage and God restored it, or how a woman in an abusive relationship turned to God for help and she got rescued physically and spiritually.

GOD WANTS TO USE EVERYDAY PEOPLE
Just like you, with everyday lives to share his love through their life.

See Satan wants to make you feel worthless and tainted because of your bad choices, so that you always feel like you’re not worthy and God can’t use you. That’s a lie, know it, know it, let it seep down into your bones. God said, What the devil meant for evil he will make it for your good.(paraphrased)

So trust that God can and will use you right where you sit. You don’t have to be an evangelist or a preacher or even a teacher, you don’t have to be educated or even smart.

You only have to be wise with what God has taught you and courageous enough to not worry about judgment from others. Keep the faith of knowing that God has called you for a purpose, his purpose.

TO CHANGE LIVES, TO SAVE LIVES.

He promises that once he starts a work in you that he will not quit until it is complete.

If you’ve done drugs it matters, if you’ve been an adulterer it matters, if you’ve lied, cheated stole or even worshipped Satan it matters. It matters because people matter.

God wants to turn your hurt into hope for yourselves and others. Don’t worry about what others would say. As my mom used to tell me “honey don’t worry about them, they are going to talk about you with or without your permission.” So true and so what? Listen, you speak for an audience of one and that’s all that matters.

Don’t be ashamed of anything you have ever done, all of us have sinned, big sin, small sin, its all sin.

God loves you and wants to use you. Quit carrying it around, he forgave you, your clean & made new. Now the biggest thing you can do is forgive yourself. So you can give of yourself. So what’s your story?
