A softly played melody deep in my soul
drawing me closer to where my spirit
knows it must go.

My mind does not understand this inward tune
but my heart beats to the notes of a love song
within.

I see it all as it is given to be,
pictures of a place I long to see.
A silhouette of someone who waits for me.
He hears the same melody that draws me near.
For this is a love song written and held
in heaven, now being released to
bring together a love that has never been.

Listen carefully to your love song within
let not your mind try to understand.
It was composed by someone greater than we.
Follow your heart that beats to this melody
that has been tuned so intimately.

Search no more I am on my way, it is by this
love song that guides me into your arms to stay.
