Any work of man that has one without the other is one-handed and will have fruits that will come from the ingredients sown. You can't serve people without offering them spiritual as well as physical support. God's love is shown in both hands of the church.The moment we lose sight of the material world, we are no longer engaged in Biblical Christianity, it becomes mysticism.

Biblical Christianity throughout History is based and built upon the revelation of God through the natural world. In discipling nations, our work is not over once people are found to be in Christ after salvation. We need to give them practical help in government, health care, education, business, family and so on.

God is interested in every part of your make up as a tripartite person. He placed Christ in you as your life at salvation when your spirit was filled with the nature of God. He reveals Himself to you through the Holy Spirit acting to reveal God to your soul, that is inrenewing your mind, will and emotions. And, when you will be given a new heavenly body for eternity.

Every part of you, body, soul and spirit is important to God.He has placed Christ in you as the dying seed, and as you are risen with Christ, braches of life growup into your soul by the watering of the Holy Spirit to give understanding of the changes occuring in salvation.

Soon those branches of changein your soul bear fruit in your body and through your actions. So Christ in you (salvation) becomes Christ as you (social gospel) and destroys any enmity between sacred and secular, because in Christ all is redeemed.

God wants to save you to the uttermost, for that is how far His love and acceptance of you spreads.This is God-life, where sacred and secular meet and Christ and culture collide.
