A lake of water where ice should be
a warming earth, a rising sea..
A flaming tower falls to the ground
the lawless ones keep nations bound..
A village burns and people die,
through the air we hear the cry.
A soldier wants to look away,
but feel the sorrow every day.
A homeless man who won’t give up,
tired and helpless he holds his cup.
A parentless child with no time to play
feels lucky he found food today.
A weak, ill woman who can hardly stand
prepares a meal for those who can.
A man pretends to love his wife,
he dreams about a better life.
What will it take for our world’s rebirth?
What will it take to have Heaven on Earth?
