Everybody goes through the storms of life. There is a way that we can go through the storm and come out victorious. The way to victory is how we see the storm. How we see the storm will cause us to come out of the storm victorious or come out haggard and beat down. God does not want you to come out beat down. That is not His plan for you.

Let me share something with you. When you look up in the sky, you can sometimes see the storm clouds coming. I have been outside with the sun shining, but off to the west, I would see a storm cloud moving in my direction. The storm cloud blows in with its contents, and then the sun comes back out. Did you catch that? The storm cloud comes into your life, but it will blow over. It will pass…it has not come to stay. Just as it came, it will leave. If you remember that the storm cloud is not a permanent state, then you will be able to handle its winds and rain because you know it will be over after while. You must anchor yourself in the promises of God when you see the storm cloud coming on the horizon. You must be the one who will not allow the storm cloud to take away your smile, your joy. The storm cloud may be over the ocean, and it may be moving this ole way…but it will move on. You must maintain that mindset when you see the storm arising on the horizon. What should you do if the storm arises all of a sudden? Walk in the same mindset. This too will pass. That is the mindset that you must train yourself to walk in.
