Prayer of Courage


Grant me, Almighty God—

Enough courage
To forgive those who despise and hate me.

Enough self-control
Not to follow and believe immoral ways and philosophies.

Enough wisdom
To unconditionally love while not expecting to be loved.

Enough commitment
To You, O God, to never fear the things of this world.

Enough boldness
To tell the world of the Good News of Your mercy, compassion and
Unconditional love.

Enough unconditional love
To be angered at unjust acts towards innocent children regardless of gender.

Enough joy
To spread your happiness no matter how much I suffer. For it is within
Suffering I will come to know what tasks I am to pursue,

Enough prayer
To be in relation with You to avoid sins and evil acts.

Enough strength of heart
To apologize to those I have wronged or hurt.

Enough character
To be forthright in all that I do.

Enough integrity
To honor You by saying and doing those things that are morally correct
In spite of criticism from others
