My Heart is Overwhelmed

My heart is overwhelmed when I see
This beautiful grand daughter, given to me,
By children I love and hold as my own.
I'm privileged to offer them my love, on loan.

I know that my Father has blessed me, above,
All of the "things" on earth that I love;
With these lovely faces that smile back at me
And babies that pat-a-cake on my knee.

When I get to Heaven and my God asks me
What was the best thing He let me see ~
I'll first tell Him Jesus love, His sacrifice,
And He'll know. But, I'll say, my sweet children's eyes!

Thank God for my babies!
