Once breast-fed on lies of Satan,
Then forsaken, so malnourished;
Then found the Lord, for me, waitin’,
Found His mercy and grace flourished;

He came to me, to lead me away,
Just like Him, from the dead;
His Word and power to never sway,
It’s now how I’m breast-fed;

I’m breast-fed on His love,
And His righteousness;
Into His eyes I look above,
Enjoying His caress;

I’m breast-fed on His Word,
To which I say, “Amen!”
My prayers are always heard,
When it’s His Word I’m prayin’;

Please, dear Lord, keep me here,
I’d die without Your love;
He then said, “Just stay near;
Enjoy My gifts thereof;”

How could I know You, Lord,
And just not be smitten?
Your promises tell me I’m adored;
