My heart cries out Lord for Your mercy
Don’t let the silence grow on me
Don’t let my bones dry inside me
Don’t let my candle of hope go off
Allowing the scoffers on me to scoff
Don’t let the tears keep flowing from my eyes
Turn into happiness all of my sighs
I close my eyes to find only thee
Give my life back for me to rejoice in thee
I wait for the moment you will put us together
To sing joy and praise on Holy day we’ll gather
I patiently stand with heart full of trust
Make me glad again before I go to dust
