Lord, Talk to Me

Lord, I keep seeking Your will for my life
And when I am stifled by struggles and strife
I yearn to feel your peace in me
So I can at last be completely free.

As I search, I am led to Your Word.
I’ve read it before, but have I REALLY heard
All the wisdom that you impart
And all the promises made from your heart?

I know in order to hear You speak
I have to open Your Word to seek
And learn from what You say to me
For this is the Way to Eternity!

I need communion with You in prayer
To ensure our personal bond is there
Strong and alive, being nourished each day
As I focus on You and fervently pray.

Your Word teaches me to know Your Way
And I learn Your Truth as I read and pray
Realizing what You want me to do -
I pray, “Work through me – I am open to you!”

Beatufiul moving anointed poetry from a Daughter of The Most High God!!!Yes,precious Sister in Christ,His will and ways are being lived out in your life daily and your words and life reflect the Beauty of His Spirit living in you to touch the hearts of others!

Oh Peggy, Thank you so much for this very inspiring poem which is filled with Godly wisdom. When we can feel God's peace there is nothing in this world that can shake us, for we know that He is in control. As we each one seek His will for our lives we need indeed to be open, for then He can speak to us as only He knows how. You indeed are one of His divine angels so full of wisdom. I love you, Sharon
