With outstretched hand she beckoned me:
“Come and see the splendors of my garden.
Lie in stillness as the peaceful fragrance
Dances and delights your senses;
As your eyes feast upon
Colors too majestic to name,
As you lose yourself
To the sounds of silence,
The memories of your past existence—
Struggling with the cares and worries
Of a violent and frivolous world—
Will melt away as the cold frost
On green summer grass.
Then your eyes will be opened.
You will experience true freedom
With the realization that
God graced my garden
With beauty only seen in Heaven.
And if God Himself placed such beauty
On the Earth below our feet,
How much more love and passion did he feel
As he created you with His own hands?”
