HOLD ON TO GODS HAND

This past few months I have been feeling so tired……
Change is what I want for my family; but it seems like every time we take two steps forward, we have to take 5 steps back.
It seems like living is so hard and at the same time, we find quality moments that make up for all the pain and temporary troubles that we seem to be facing right now.

People hurt people and that is so sad. Rather it is an innocent form of what you think is discipline for your child hurting another; or a home owner not paying for work that was done in his house; Pain is pain.

The other side of this is learning and growing from your mistakes.
Getting back up when you seem to fall so deep; into a pit that seems bottomless is courage that you can not buy or sell.
This year started off with a numerous amount of possibilities for our future.
Again, some where along the way, we lost focus of our goals.

Here comes the pain.

One hasty decision, one wrong choice in trusting some ones word, has cost our family to be one step closer to homelessness.
The debts that our rising up like waves, is trying to drown us.
Our dreams of owning this home seems so for far out of our reach.
What is keeping us from breaking down and throwing in the towel?

God!

Our faith in God is the glue that holds us together.
The issues of life are trying to destroy our family.
The love of Jesus is keeping us safe and warm.
If you were to take a look at our family situation and the circumstances; that have seemed to hover over us like a dark cloud, you would think there is no logical way out of this mess.

But, you see when you are going through the valley of the shadow of death;
You can’t concentrate on the problem or the devastation it may cause.

This is when we must keep our relationship with God, closer than we have ever kept it in our lives. Jesus is the only one that heals are pain and give us real joy, which the world can not give.

Jesus never said that it would be easy.
He said, there will come a time when we will feel like we are being pressed on every side.


We are experiencing that pressure, right now!


It doesn’t feel good nor, does it comfort us.
This is why we must remember the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Fear not! Be of good cheer! I will never leave you, nor will I forsake you in your time of trouble.
So, I dedicate this message to families and to all Gods people, who are in an uncertain place in their lives right now.

Your life is not over, it is just beginning.
You will rise again from your fall and this time, you will remember that God has never left you, but you may have left him.

God will never stop loving us and he sees what we are to become.
We just need to get in line with his word and live by his standards.
Once we do this act of obedience, the rest will fall into place.
