So many pieces of joy,
So many pieces of joy,
But not enough joy for me,
Never to cry, never to frown,
but not enough joy for me.

I run to the lake and see the blue,
I smile for a while, and I am full,
Yet still, not enough joy for me,
Too many fears, too many tears,
Just not enough joy for me.

Late in the night my body cries,
And I have no peace.,
my heart cries out ,
there's no one else,
in this world for me,
My joy beseeches,
as the word so preaches,
yet so many pieces of joy to come,
yet not enough for me.

So many pieces of joy ,
So many pieces of joy,
But not enough for me,
Never to cry, never to frown,
oh but not enough joy for me ,

One day I look up ,
and see in the clouds,
My savior speaking to me,
my head lifts up,
and my soul does shout,
Yet my flesh does not receive.

One day oh Savior,
not pieces of joy do I want,
But fullness of joy do I seek,
A complete walk in joy ,
& your faithful story,
Oh Father please tell it to me,
then my pieces of joy will come together,
And finally be complete.
