GOD SEES EVERYTHING

God sees each hour of every day,
The obscure, the hidden reasons,
While men may criticize and judge
He orders out the seasons.

I wonder if within each life,
Seasons are ordered too;
I wonder if the winters cold
Must be, ~ to bring us through?

Then we’ll appreciate the Spring,
The flowers and the earth -
Perhaps we’ll learn from each of them
The wealth of human worth.

Sometimes the storm comes thrashing
And throwing us about ~
And we don’t know which way to turn,
To ride this monster out.

It’s then perhaps we learn to pray,
To see the answer too;
When the storm is over we’ll be
Sure to say “Thank You!”

And in the hottest desert when
The sun is blazing down,
We can not life up our eyes ~
‘Twould only bring a frown;

Then suddenly, unexpected,
An oasis does appear.
While we are refreshed and rested
We feel Him ~ Oh, so near!

There are times of disappointment, but
Jesus sees these too;
He’s been in that situation long
Before the world knew you.

I’d love to see Him laughing ~
Just dancing out with glee!
I wish, Oh, yes, I wish that it might be
Because of the life of me!
