Missed Blessings

It has been one of those days all week; some days you get the bear and some days the bear gets you; clichés’ like these can seem to go on forever. How many times in our daily life, when life itself gets in the way, do we question God? How many times do we think God has passed us over with His blessings? We start to feel sorry for ourselves.
We seem to allow our daily life burdens to erase the many blessings that make up the roadmap of our souls. It does not matter how hard you try to put things behind you, Satan finds a way to put his negative thoughts in your mind. On your own, it is impossible to forgive and forget. However, with Jesus Christ and your faith in Him, the blessings of His grace will shine through. “From the fullness of His grace we have received one blessing after another”, John 1:16 NIV. Blessings from the one who knows the number of hairs on our head to His children who are still learning to count on a magnitude that we can not imagine. Unfortunately for us, in our hectic life, to many blessings, seem to go unnoticed.


Prayer: Thank you Jesus for the blessing of your grace as I grow into the person you want me to be.
