Author requests article critique

Patience

In a world of indifference,
the daisies begin to bloom.
I’ve checked them daily,
lately,
along with a random butterfly,
for petals opened overnight.
But they’re closed tight.
Yet, the promise remains
in closed-up buds.

It’s been a long time waiting.
Hopelessness rears its ugly head
too often for comfort.
But I’ve learned in the wait
to say,
and truly mean it
from a place deeper than heart level,
“My God is faithful.
He makes all things beautiful,
even a life like mine,
in His time.”

Suddenly,
a little cloud rises
on the horizon.
Oh, those daisies are sure to open wide
in praise.
Just give them another day,
or two,
or three,
or...

of mist
or even just the dew.

One step of faith,
a tiny step,
baby step...

I stretch my arms out wide,
palms lifted toward the sky:

Faithful and True --
I lift You up.
And find me lifted too,

in You.
If it so pleases You,
I receive the rain.

Joyce, you have opened your eyes to nature, and opened your heart to God. You have opened the eyes of many. If only we would stop to notice the daisies, the mist, the rain, the coming of spring, the beauty that God gives us every day. If only we would open our hearts and receive God's blessing, as you have done. You have a wonderful way with words. Thanks for sharing.

I really felt this Article on Patience. Many times we have heard The Lord and His Promise and are waiting patiently and the enemey is fighting to block us from our blessing or promise. Sometimes it is our people aroung us creating a cloud of negativity that hinders us from our full potential. But lately I have found that in the extremly gifted OUR MIND is what stops us from the next level of "As it is in Heaven So SHALL it be on earth". We have the authority through Christ to take things that are not even existing and say it is so and it will form in our reality if it is in God's will. Keep spreading love, it touches the untouchable and reaches those who are alone and desperate for change. God bless you.

Whew! This is awesome. I love the image of the flower as a bud. God is so generous with all. I have had times where my focus was on what I lacked, rather than what I had. It is amazing to look back from this vantage point and see how full those times were.

You know that God loves you the way you have always longed to be loved and you bask in it. That certainty shines through everything you write.
