Our tribulations are also our glory;
Through affliction, reveal Your story;

For this reason we bow our knees;
In this dark season, hear our pleas;
Dear Father God of our Christ,
Our great Laud and Sacrifice,
Your children are made for Your name;
Your pilgrims here, for Your fame;

Grant us by your riches of heaven,
Draw us nigh, to be Spirit-driven,
To be strengthened with inner might,
So love-lengthened, for it is right,
That Jesus would dwell, in us, through faith,
Who saved us from hell, from the wraith;
We, being rooted and grounded in love,
We’d be truth-footed, being borne above,
To comprehend with all the saints
(Please, dear Lord, send, with no restraints),
What is the width, length, depth and height—
To know His strength, the love of Christ;
That we may be filled with the fullness of God;
In joy, rebuild, provoke with Your nod;

We are assured how You are able,
With trials endured, we are made stable;
You will do beyond all we ask or think;
Your Spirit’s our bond, for us to drink;
He is the power, working all within us,
In each and every hour; rising from the dust;
To You, be the praise, from the church of Christ;
Our voices raised, up to the highest.
