A Blessing

I’ll send you a blessing with Heaven in view -
There won’t be a thing required of you.
You don’t have to forward within the hour
I pray, just for you, peace, by His power,

A vision to you from Heaven’s own land -
A goal that is worthy of your working hand;
A comfort, and balm for your wounds as you toil
And best of all, ease, from the Holy Ghost’s oil.

There’s no curse or jinx connected with this -
Nothing but sweetness from God’s holy kiss;
The fragrance of beauty be found in your mind,
All things you desire most by His power devine

When you walk in the dark, His hand you feel -
When the storm and the torrent surround you, reveal
The grace of our God, our Hope and our Peace
Till you’re safely harbored in His full release.
