I should have-
Instead,
The gentle winds blew a whisper.
Isn’t that my yesterday’s song?
Wind, please sing it; I don’t remember.
Instead,
The yellow trumpets heralded a sight:
Aren’t those the daughters of the sun?
Please greet me, flowers; I am lonely.
Instead,
A friend came over, with greeting smile.
Have we not shared it, happy days before?
Please stay here; we’ll talk awhile.
-prayed.

You really have a talent here, my friend. You are so playful with your style and your images seem to be so random, but so well-chosen. You remind me so much of Rumi when you write - no rules, just highly condensed thought in beautiful words, put into a fun form. You were on my "Author track", but now I'm actually printing them off to read them slowly several times. If you have not already decided, please consider a career in writing -your work is far more mature than your tender 19 years.
Blessings - Tony
