Just as the man born blind,
Whom others wondered if he had sinned,
Jesus, You worked, as One kind,
The works of God, all for him;

Does Your child exist to show
The work of God revealed in them?
With You above, and them below,
Let grace flow down, once again;

All without and within,
Are all things within Your hand;
As You forgive of all our sin,
Work a great work by Your command;

You do this all for Your glory,
Which is also our benefit;
Add Your work to this one’s story,
How You brought her through it;

Let all see the God with her,
Through the work that You bring;
In their hearts, make them sure,
And cause them all, of You, to sing.
