Palm of Your Hand

I read in God’s Word how He loves us
So much that He’s engraved His hand
With your name and my name - no, He won’’t forget
As we walk through this dangerous land.
I thought if God holds our names so
Tender and lovingly there....
Perhaps I should write down a name or two,
Call out those names in prayer.

Friend, will you put a name in your hand?
Will you get on your knees and pray?
For many are sick that could be well,
Many not saved ~ on their way to hell,
Battles are lost when knees do not bend,
Burdens not lifted when not brought to Him ~
Blessings are missed by ones who could pray
And by those who need your prayer today.
