When I 'm up on top of a mountain
My voice echoes "Praise the Lord's name."
I praise you for my very existence,
I praise the reason You came.
I sing blessed is the almighty
Blessed is the lamb
Blessed is he who has given
To me this fruitful land
But when into the valley I tumble
I forget I have a capable voice.
I forget to lift up prayers to You,
And then I forget to rejoice.
I forget the reason for these trials,
That I have been going through.
I forget you are there to lead me
And You are always faithful and true
My eyes some times leave the horizon
And what each new day will bring.
The way your hand will guide me,
When I lift my voice to You and sing!
When in the depths of a great valley
I need to focus on You, rise up and sing,
Rejoice in the trials bestowed unto me
And praise You for the growth it will bring!

YOU ARE VERY good at writing poetry....I really enjoy reading all you write, i like the style in which you present them. They say worship is one of the most effective form of spiritual warfare, so when in a valley, lift up Gods name, He will lift US up, as well!
