Yesterday I finally learned
a new pattern with my metal rings,
and using all different colors of them,
I made a beautiful thing.

The pattern started with two linked to one,
the large one linked to the small,
and over this went another large one,
yet another went through them all.

It reminded me so of how Jesus is,
our lives like small rings linked to Him,
and above and below we have His protection,
a shining truth that will never dim.

In the center around us two,
there is a glowing ring, a gift from above,
for this is all around us each day,
this wonder we have, this joy, our love!

Now whenever I make that weave,
It will remind me of our joy ever new,
and it will become just one more way,
that I can express how much I LOVE YOU!
