Peace of God

The peace of God passes understanding,
To the man at peace and the beholder,
The circumstance and challenge notwithstanding,
You can rest on His big shoulder

When you can cast your burdens on the Lord,
You are assured He is there always.
Relaxing without a care in the world,
But praying and doing what He says.

He has the Ace up his sleeve,
Ready to release the booty,
Just seek his face and believe,
Bet your smile will be toothy.

He has the keys that opens and shuts,
Receive that which the Lord gives
Open heavens cancels the ‘buts’
Shout Alleluia as the Lord relieves.
